Is it really private? Are my images uploaded?

No. Every step — importing, editing, and exporting — happens entirely in your browser on your own device. Your screenshots are never uploaded to our servers, never stored by us, and never sent to any third party. When you close the tab, they are gone. Privacy is not a setting here; it is how the tool is built.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. You can open the editor and start polishing a screenshot immediately, and make one local demo export without signing in. Sign in to unlock five clean exports per calendar month for free, or subscribe to Pro for unlimited exports.

Is there a watermark on exports?

Never. The local demo export, free-account exports, and Pro exports are all clean. Without an account you get one local demo export on that browser or device; a free account gives you five exports per calendar month.

What formats and resolutions can I export?

You can import PNG, JPEG, and WebP, and export to PNG, JPEG, or WebP. The no-account demo and free-account exports go up to 2x resolution; Pro unlocks up to 4x for crisp, high-resolution results suited to retina displays and print-quality sharing.

What platforms and presets are included?

There are ready-made canvas presets for X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Product Hunt, and Open Graph, plus an auto/original ratio that keeps your screenshot's native proportions. You can also set custom dimensions and fine-tune padding, corner radius, shadow, scale, and position.

How do I make a screenshot look professional?

Give it room to breathe and a background that contrasts with the interface you captured. ScreenPolish applies balanced padding, a rounded frame, and a soft shadow the moment you drop an image, then lets you pick a gradient, solid colour, transparent, or your own background image. Sizing the canvas to the platform you are posting on does the rest.

How much does Pro cost?

Pro is $4 a month or $34 a year, in US dollars. You are charged exactly the amount shown on the pricing page. Pro adds unlimited exports plus resolutions up to 4x.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There are no cancellation fees and no dark patterns.

Does it work on mobile and tablets?

The editor is desktop-first for precise control, and it remains usable on tablets. The landing, sign-in, and billing pages are fully mobile-friendly. For the best editing experience, a larger screen with a pointer is recommended.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Deleting your account takes effect immediately and removes the account record and everything attached to it: your email, display name, provider account record, sign-in tokens, sessions, export counts and subscription record. Your images were never stored. Short-lived rate-limit counters and any pending sign-in link expire on their own; limited billing records may be kept where the law requires.
