Changelog
What shipped, and when. One entry per meaningful release.
Adaptive colour inset
A subtle local margin can now continue the colours found around a screenshot's perimeter, or use a solid colour you choose. The bounded analysis, preview and every export remain entirely in your browser.
A smaller, art-directed background library
Twelve original backgrounds replace the launch collection: four soft pastels, four vivid compositions, and four light or dark neutrals. Every background is manually composed, deterministic, and rendered locally at every export size.
Local redaction regions
Blur or block out parts of a screenshot — names, emails, numbers — before exporting. Redactions are rendered by your browser like everything else, so the sensitive pixels never leave your device either.
Style presets, brand kits and the social export pack
Save a look you like and reapply it in one click, keep a lightweight brand kit, and let Pro generate a ZIP of exports sized for several platforms at once — all stored and rendered locally.
Native sharing and clipboard copy
Send an export straight to your device's share sheet, or copy the finished image to the clipboard for pasting anywhere. Both paths hand the image directly from your browser to your OS.
ScreenPolish launches
Browser-only screenshot editor with curated backgrounds, X/LinkedIn/Product Hunt/Open Graph canvas presets, PNG/JPEG/WebP export at 1x/2x (4x on Pro), and 5 free watermark-free exports per month.
